It is a traditional Muslim festive breakfast and a dessert for celebrations. Sheer is Persian for milk and khurma is Persian for dates. This dish is made from dried dates. <br /><br />Ingredients used in SHEER KHURMA:<br /><br />• Milk - 500 ml.<br />• Cashew nuts - 2tbsp<br />• Chirongi - 1 tbsp<br />• Pistachios - 2tbsp<br />• Almonds - 2tbsp<br />• Ghee - 2 teaspoons<br />• Vermicelli - 1/4 cup<br />• Dates - 4 -5 numbers<br />• Cardamom powder - 1 tsp<br />• Sugar - 1/2 cup.<br />• Cashew and Almonds Paste - 2 Tbsp<br />• Condensed Milk - 2 Tsp<br /><br />Method:<br />1. Heat milk in a pan and bring to a boil. Let it cook till reduced to <br /> half then add sugar.<br />2. Take a pan and pour ghee in it. Add almonds, raisins and <br /> pistachios to it. Saute well.<br />3. Now in the same hot pan add vermicelli. Roast well.<br />4. Add fried nuts and vermicelli and cook for 5-6 minutes.<br />5. Add cardamom powder, Condensed milk, and Cashew Almonds <br /> Paste cook till the desired consistency is reached.<br />6.
